Dependent Visa

Visa Fees: €370

  • You can take your Spouse to Finland along with you and He or She can work full time in Finland.
  • You can apply for your Spouse's dependent visa (D Visa) at the same time of your Student visa.
  • Your spouse can apply for a D visa with a paper application.
  • Your spouse must visit a Finnish mission or VFS application centre to submit the application and prove your identity.
  • Your spouse must leave your passport with the official at the mission or application centre when you prove your identity.
  • The Finnish Immigration Service will affix the D visa to their passport once they receive a residence permit and D visa.
  • They will receive a decision on their D visa application at the same time as the decision on their residence permit.
